ICON Experience

How can you say no to a free entrance at ICON Bar? Heck YEAH would probably be your immediate response. When I got a text message from a friend inviting me for an Icon experience, I immediately said yes. I've been to a lot of great bars in Milan, Vienna, Paris, Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the Maldives but partying here in Manila is just as great. Just as I thought it would only be possible in Boracay, I was wrong.

I can say that my first ICON experience was amazing. The laser lights actually caught my attention when we enter, it was like a scene in Charlie's Angels where Cameron Diaz carefully makes her way accross a room with laser lights that triggers the alarm when touched, only this time, it is in blue.

The DJ was good as well.

Although drinks are pricey, I can still say that all in all, two thumbs way up for my very first ICON experience.

Brekkie

What's for breakfast? Frog and Snail? Seriously? Is this what typhoon Bebeng has left behind? Aren't there any other food available? But when I get to taste the frog sautéed in ginger and garlic, I was like, hmmmm it's delicious. And the snail cooked in coconut cream, argh! you have no idea how good that snail is. So here's the photo of my brekkie. Although yeah, it doesn't sound like a brekkie. Haha.

Smart Bro... Slow Bro...

I really need to switch. Where are you Sky Broadband?

High School

Two days to go and I will get to meet some of my high school friends after 13 years. I actually get to see some of them once in a while but never in a drinking session and it is just exciting to catch up with them. Wait for the photos here.

I also need to catch up with GMP. Sorry guys, been very busy. And you know how freaking weird my schedule is. I'll see y'all around.

Holy Week...

I almost forgot this blog site. Now it is time to write. Holy week is probably the only season when EDSA is not congested. The problem is, my rest day falls on a weekday. While the rest is planning on their much awaited vacation, I am planning on how to survive my shift. On the lighter side, I will get paid twice as much since Thursday and Friday are legal holidays and Saturday was announced as Special Non-working Holiday. So there, I will probably look forward next year and plot my vacation leave early on.

Hinahanap hanap

Cravings..

Craving is an intense desire or appetite for some particular food or thing. And having said that, I can say that I crave a lot these past few days.

First on my list was Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks. Seriously? Hot coffee on a soaring heat? Well, craving doesn't know any weather, right?

Second is Goto. Now this time it is raining. So my craving is in line with the weather.

Then I crave for Jollibee spaghetti. I saw this tv ad and voila! I want Jolly Spaghetti.

Fourth, I crave for something curry-ish. I am not really sure whether I am craving for chicken curry or curry puff. All I know is that, I want to put something in my mouth with a curry taste on it.

Then lastly, I crave for McD's fries and strawberry float.

Can you imagine a pregnant women in her first trimester with a lot of cravings? I know that there is no scientific proof about them wanting to eat some food, but hey, we all crave once in a while, right?
